After the long months of winter, Pasque flowers are blooming in the Northland Arboretum Monday, April 27. The emergence of the crocus usually corresponds with Easter, but not this year. I was raised on a farm in western Minnesota where I participated in 4-H, high school sports, and everything that farm kids do for fun after chores.
