Three members of a Cottage Grove family were injured Saturday night when their car went off the road on County Road 12 in Aitkin County.
Matthew Holmen, 41, Megan Holmen, 47, and Luke Holmen, 13, all sustained non-life threatening injuries. The three were not wearing seatbelts, the Minnesota State Patrol said in a crash report on its web page.
Jack Thalhuber, 18, was driving the 2012 Dodge Ram east on County Road 12 near the intersection with Highway 47 just before 8 p.m. when he lost control, ran off the road to the left, and hit a tree head-on.
Thalhuber and Austin Holmen, 19, were both wearing seatbelts and had no apparent injuries.
The State Patrol described road conditions as wet. No alcohol was detected in the vehicle occupants, the report said.
