The city of Brainerd plans to begin removing snow from the boulevards on College Drive at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18.
This process will consist of large equipment and trucks in the outside lanes of College Drive. The operations will continue throughout the day until about 2:30 p.m., as to not interfere with school and work traffic. If the operations are not completed Wednesday, work will continue Thursday.
Drivers are advised to watch for heavy equipment and traffic control on the street and remember the snow removal equipment has many blind spots and may not be able to see all other vehicles. Drivers should use caution when traveling on College Drive for these two days, as snow removal may cause some icy spots for a few days.
