The Brainerd Fire Department started the Thanksgiving Day holiday slow, with no calls Thursday-Friday, Nov. 28-29, but it picked up Saturday with two calls.
Firefighters were called at 12:52 p.m. Saturday to a snowblower on fire on the 1300 block of Quince Street. The fire was out before arrival. Firefighters also were called at 5:30 p.m. to a vehicle fire at Little Caesars Pizza, 807 Washington St. Fire again was extinguished before arrival.
