There's no snow in the Brainerd lakes area but the Brainerd Fire Department responded to a snowmobile fire at 1:31 p.m. Thursday on the 6200 block of Birchdale Road.
The fire was out prior to firefighters arrival. It was reported that the resident took the snowmobile out of the garage and tried to get it started, when it caught on fire. It was a total loss.
Firefighters also responded to a call at 1 p.m. Wednesday to Bang Printing in Brainerd. It was reported that the company was cleaning equipment and the dust set off the fire alarm.
