LINCOLN-A Staples man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 2 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Ridge Road and Aztec Road in, Scandia Valley Township near Lincoln, the Morrison County Sheriff's Office reported.
The man, John Weigel, 83, Staples, was traveling west on Ridge Road. Weigel turned south on Aztec Road when his vehicle collided with another vehicle driven by Cole Franzen, 19, Motley, the sheriff's office reported. Weigel was transported by private vehicle to Lakewood Health System in Staples.
The sheriff's office was assisted at the scene by the Scandia Valley First Response Team.
