ST. PAUL-Gov. Mark Dayton announced an 8th Congressional District vacancy on the Minnesota Court of Appeals, which begins retirement of the Honorable Lawrence B. Stauber at the end of May.
Dayton has asked the Commission on Judicial Selection to aid in the review and selection process, a release said. The at-large members of the Commission will consider applicants and offer recommendations to Dayton.
Only those who have resided in the 8th District for at least one year shall be eligible. Interviews are scheduled to be held March 28 in Duluth.
