The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash reported at 2:32 p.m. Sunday on Highway 169 near Mille Lacs County Road 11.
It was reported a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox was eastbound on County Road 11 attempting to cross Highway 169. A Ford Fusion was southbound on Highway 169, when it struck the driver's side of the Equinox, causing it to roll over landing on its wheels in the median, the state patrol said.
The driver of the Ford, Kelsey K. Shaw, 19, Andover, had two passengers, Lindsey E. Oleary, 19, Andover, and Geraldine L. Takavec, 78, Coon Rapids, all had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton.
The names of the driver and passenger of the Equinox were not yet available Sunday night.
The Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
