ISLE — Both drivers were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 8:32 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, on Highway 47 on the east side of Mille Lacs Lake, north of Isle in Mille Lacs County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported a Chevy Tahoe, driven by Ross A. Beaulieu, 21, Onamia, was traveling north on Highway 47, when it crossed over the centerline into the southbound lane making contact with a Dodge Ram, driven by Oscar L. Eggen, 76, Onamia. The crash was at Walnut Road in East Side Township.
Both drivers, who were wearing their seat belts, were transported to Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
