State patrol SUV collides with deer

The trooper was not injured.

MILACA — A Minnesota State Patrol trooper was driving Tuesday, June 1, south on Highway 169, south of Milaca in Mille Lacs County when a deer ran out and struck the vehicle.

The trooper’s Chevrolet Tahoe’s front left fender and headlight were damaged as a result of the collision. The trooper, Brian L. Milan, 49, was not injured.

The collision occurred at 7:39 a.m.
