As strong winds buffet the Garrison Concourse at Wayside Park, Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, high waves roll in Garrison Bay on Mille Lacs Lake. The strong east winds pushed the large waves against the historic granite viewing platform, creating a visual spectacle for motorists driving through the city.
