To accommodate the large number of taxpayers who have yet to file for their 2015 property tax refunds, AARP tax aides will be available to help people throughout the summer.
Appointments are suggested, but walk-ins will be taken as well.
Limited summer hours will be provided at The Center, 803 Kingwood St., Brainerd, 9 a.m.-noon on May 4, June 22, July 27 and Aug 10. Call 218-829-9345 to make an appointment.
The Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library, 101 First St. SE, Crosby, will be open for tax help from 1-4 p.m., May 25, June 22 and July 27. No appointments necessary.
The Pequot Lakes Community Library, 31069 County Road 112, Pequot Lakes, will be open 1-4 p.m. July 28. No appointments necessary.

The Crosslake Community Center, 14126 Daggett Pine Road, Crosslake, will also open noon-3 p.m. July 12. Call 218-692-4271 for an appointment.
To file for the 2015 property tax refund bring the following forms: 2015 1099-SSA, 1099-R, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, W-2 and a 2016 property tax statement.
Those who have not filed for the 2014 property tax refund previously, should bring the 2015 property tax statement and 2014 income statements.
