A Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Saturday broke through the ice near the public access at Breezy Point Resort, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.
The people were able to get out of the SUV safely. The SUV was pulled out by Turner Towing.
Sgt. Chad Paulson said with the warmer temperatures, he advises people to take their time when driving on the ice and to proceed with caution. He said motorists should stay on the same tracks/routes on the lake and not get off the beaten path.
