MALMO TOWNSHIP-A rollover crash on the northeast side of Mille Lacs Lake injured two people Wednesday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported 21-year-old Chaneyne Lee Reece of Bertha and 19-year-old Mya Lynn Sandoz of Onamia suffered non-life-threatening injuries when the 1990 Ford Bronco they were in rolled over at 9:15 p.m.

The Bronco was traveling east on Highway 18 in Malmo Township when it lost control, rolling over and coming to rest on the driver's side in the right ditch. The road conditions were snowy and icy at the time, the state patrol reported.

Reece, who was driving, and passenger Sandoz were both transported to Riverwood Hospital in Aitkin for their injuries. Reece was wearing a seat belt. The state patrol reported it was unknown whether Sandoz wore one.

The Aitkin County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
