The Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District tree sale pre-order open house is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 24.
The event is in meeting rooms 1 and 2, next door to the Crow Wing SWCD office in the Crow Wing County Land Services Building, 322 Laurel St., Brainerd.
There will be presentations at 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and displays from a number of organizations will be available the length of the event. These include Brock White, Crow Wing County, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Forestry, master gardeners, Pine River Watershed Alliance, Our Mississippi Our Future and more.
The event includes a chance to win a 2019 plat book, native flower seeds, photo prints and an SWCD hat. There will be a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to the SWCD for products or technical services.
Order online at crowwingswcd.org . There are pictures and descriptions of the trees, plants and seed mixes. The deadline for ordering is Feb. 28 or until sold out. Crow Wing SWCD accepts cash, check and credit card payments for orders.

Plants, trees and seeds must be picked up 4-6 p.m. May 7 or 8 a.m.-5 p.m. May 8.
