T-ball smiles

Baxter Parks and Recreation offers T-ball for 4-6 year-olds for any of the area cities..

Players must be 4-6 years old before 1/1/21 to be eligible for this program. Assistants will emphasize throwing, catching and hitting from a tee with a soft baseball. Morning T-Ball (49 kids - 4 teams) meets Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00 or 10:45 Evening T-Ball (92 kids - 8 teams) meets Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30, 6:15, 7:00 or 7:45. Players can come from any area city to participate.

I was raised on a farm in western Minnesota where I participated in 4-H, high school sports, and everything that farm kids do for fun after chores. Graduated from Ridgewater Community College with an AA degree and my first taste of newspapering. I worked a summer on the Ortonville Independent as a reporter and photographer.
