Taco John's in Brainerd will be hosting a fundraiser for Margo Fortune and her family from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Taco John's will donate 20 percent of the sales to help the family go on one last vacation Margo Fortune wishes for.

"We very much hope that the community joins us in this effort," said Marcy Barrett of Taco John's. "Margo's son works here and her daughter worked for us in the past. Helping this family is very near and dear to our Taco John's family hearts."

Margo and her husband Bill Fortune shared their story last week with the Dispatch. Margo was diagnosed with brain cancer. Her first tumor was removed March 20, 2013. Four days later, her daughter Emma lost her battle with her rare muscular disease. Margo also was told she has the rare muscular disease.

Margo had her second brain surgery in August of 2014. Her third and final surgery was done Jan. 20. Her doctor told her she only had a few months to live. Margo told the Dispatch she hopes to be able to go on a family trip before she passes away.
