AITKIN — A 35-year-old Tamarack man was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 17, by the Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office and charged with 11 counts of criminal sexual conduct after an investigation by the sheriff’s office and Aitkin County Health and Human Services.
Bryant Joseph McConnell was charged Friday, Dec. 20, in Aitkin County District Court with four felony counts each of first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count each of third- and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of gross misdemeanor criminal sexual conduct. He also was charged with felony domestic assault by strangulation.
Bail was set at $200,000 unconditional terms of release, $50,000 bond with conditions, or $5,000 cash with conditions, the sheriff’s office reported.
