Local Republican legislators will talk new tax cuts for veterans at an event in Brainerd on Thursday, a release said.
Rep. Bob Dettmer, R-Forest Lake, Chair of the House Veterans Affairs Division, Rep. Josh Heintzeman, R-Nisswa, and Rep. Dale Lueck, R-Aitkin will take part in a town hall breakfast with an area veterans group to discuss veterans legislation that passed during the 2016 legislative session, including one of the largest veterans tax cuts in state history signed into law last month, the release said. The breakfast will be held at 7 a.m. in the Skillet Restaurant, 123 Washington St NE.
