BAXTER-A 17-year-old Baxter teen was transported Monday to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd after she swerved off the road to avoid a deer on Knollwood Drive and Highland Scenic Road in Baxter.
The Baxter Police Department stated Kasondra Kay Ford, 17, Baxter, did not report injuries, however seemed confused and upset.
The crash was reported at 7:09 p.m.
