A 17-year-old Baxter pedestrian was injured when a vehicle hit him on the 1100 block of East River Road in Brainerd, the Brainerd Police Department reported.
Elijah Van Natter was transported by private vehicle to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd where he was treated and then released.
The driver of the vehicle took off after the crash.
