The Brainerd Fire Department was called at 5:07 p.m. Friday to a fire in the sauna at the Brainerd Family YMCA, 602 Oak St., Brainerd. Upon arrival, the cedar from the inside of the sauna had caught on fire. Nine firefighters responded and extinguished the fire. Firefighters cleared at 5:35 p.m.

When the fire was contained, firefighters gave children at the YMCA a tour of the fire truck.
