Lakeland Public Television and The Center will present a forum on the challenges and opportunities of the area's changing demographics, called "Aging Boom: Are we Ready?"
The free event will be 5:30-7 p.m., May 5, at The Center, 803 Kingwood St., Brainerd. Members of the panel will be Don Samuelson of Brainerd, chair of the Minnesota Board on Aging and a former longtime state legislator; Josh Doty, Baxter community development director; Mark Ostgarden, Brainerd city planner; Tim Houle, Crow Wing County administrator; and Chet Bodin, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development regional analyst. Coordinating the discussion as facilitator will be Bob Gross, superintendent of the Brainerd School District.
