Three local Dairy Queen locations affected by summer data breach

The Brainerd location was not on the list of stores affected.

The Pioneer Press reported a total of 394 Dairy Queen locations and one Orange Julius location in the United States were affected by the breach, which targeted the fast food chain's payment card processing systems. Customer names, payment card numbers and expiration dates were contained within the systems. Dairy Queen said it does not believe PINs, Social Security numbers and email addresses were exposed.

Anyone who might have been affected by the data breach should call 1-855-865-4456, Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The company offers free credit repair services to those who used a card at an affected location during the breach window.
