The Brainerd Public Library will host an event at 6 p.m. Thursday on the Tiny House Movement presented by enthusiast Beth Ann Norrgard.

Norrgard will share the story of how she made the transition from a traditional way of living to building and living in a hyper-efficient, mobile residence. Norrgard will have her hand-built 112 square-foot home at the library, give home tours and also will discuss her sustainable lifestyle and dream for urban tiny house communities. She is a passionate advocate for being free to live a larger life in a smaller space and lives by example.

She blogs regularly at www.aBedOverMyHead.com/blog .

Admission to this event is free and is open to anyone who wishes to attend.
