MOTLEY-Two passengers suffered injury when a New Holland tractor and a Pontiac Grand Prix crashed at 9:33 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, on Highway 210 in May Township in Cass County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported the tractor was turning east on Highway 210 when it pulled in front of the Grand Prix, causing it to rear-end the tractor and come to rest in the ditch.
The driver of the tractor, Vincent L. Moe, 66, Fort Ripley, and the driver of the Pontiac, Deion J. Anderson, 21, Randall, were not injured. Anderson's passengers Dominic Anderson, 15, and Samara M. Nelson, 42, New York Mills, who were wearing their seat belts, had non-life-threatening injuries but were not transported to a hospital. Anderson's third passenger, Matthew R. Sawicki, 33, Little Canada, was not wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office and Pillager Fire Department assisted the state patrol at the scene.
