The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission will host a public hearing 6 p.m. Thursday at Motley-Staples Middle School.
An administrative law judge will preside over the hearing in regards to Great River Energy's proposed transmission line project. During the hearing, interested persons can comment on the project and those comments become part of the public record in the proceeding.
Property owners and others interested in the project are encouraged to attend the meeting. It is an opportunity to be a part of the state of Minnesota's permitting process, share comments and provide input.
