Gary Johnson, outreach manager for the Better Business Bureau, will speak from 10-11:30 a.m. on Aug. 28 at the Crow Wing County Land Services Building.
Johnson's free presentation includes common scams that target seniors. It's geared toward education and prevention of scams. Johnson will provide tips on how to identify scams and where to report them.
A law enforcement panel will be available for questions. Coffee and cookies will be served. Interested persons may call 829-4749 to register with the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.
