UCare will host several free informational meetings on "Medicare 101" sessions in March and April.
The meetings will be an overview on Medicare overview, not about UCare's health plan. People may register for a meeting or obtain more information by calling 877-523-1518, extension 200.
The meetings will be:
• 11 a.m. March 8, Hallett Community Center, Crosby.
• 3:30 p.m. March 26, Lakes Area Senior Center, Brainerd.

• 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 24, Arrowwood Lodge, Baxter.
• 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 30, Hallett Community Center, Crosby.
UCare is an independent, not-for-profit health plan providing health care and administrative services to members throughout Minnesota, it stated in a news release. UCare addresses health care disparities and care access issues through a broad array of community initiatives.
