Vehicle crashes, strikes sign in Ripley Township

FORT RIPLEY — A 61-year-old Merrifield man was injured when the Nissan Quest he was driving crashed at 10:22 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, on Highway 371, in Ripley Township in Morrison County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported Scott B. Nass was traveling south on Highway 371, when the Nissan left the highway at 233rd Street, north of Little Falls and hit a sign. Nass, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
