ONAMIA — A pedestrian was injured Sunday, June 28, after being struck by a Chevrolet Equinox on Highway 169 in Onamia Township.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Anthony I. Dokken, 70, of Willmar ran across the southbound lanes of Highway 169, when the Chevrolet driven by Larry J. Angeles, 70, of Golden Valley — who was traveling south on the highway — struck the pedestrian. The crash was reported at 12:22 p.m.
Dokken was transported to North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale for non-life-threatening injuries. Angeles was not injured.
The Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office and Mille Lacs Health Systems assisted the state patrol at the scene.
