AITKIN - A woman was injured when the Honda Civic she was driving went off the road and hit a tree about 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Maddy Street and Country House Road in Aitkin County, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
Debra J. Fenstermaker, 56, Tamarack, was transported to Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and then released. The state patrol reported alcohol was detected in the woman's system.
The Aitkin County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
