Vehicle takes out signal light in Baxter

Slower traffic may be experienced along Highway 371 at Woida Road.

BAXTER — The signalized intersection of Highway 371 and Woida Road in Baxter went out Friday morning, April 30, after a vehicle crash at the intersection.

The Baxter Police Department reported a vehicle struck the power box at the intersection and took out the lights. Police reported the Minnesota Department of Transportation is en route to run the lights with a generator while the box is being repaired.

Motorists may see delays as the traffic may be moving slower through a temporary four-way stop at the intersection.
