The Brainerd Police Department Tuesday responded to two calls of vehicles hitting light poles within seven minutes of each other.
The first call was at 9:59 a.m. on Front Street and Fourth Street. The driver was cited for inattentive driving.
The second call was at 10:06 a.m. on Tamarac Street and Sixth Street. The driver, Edith Fries, 75, Brainerd, was injured and taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center, where she was treated and then released.
