Two people were injured Friday morning, Dec. 18, when their vehicles collided at the intersection of Wise Road and Dellwood Drive.
The Brainerd Police Department responded to the crash at 8:28 a.m. An investigation found that Alison L. Coventry, 18, Pillager, was traveling east and Barbara J. Woese, 80, Merrifield, was traveling west on Wise Road. Woese had slowed down to make a left turn onto Dellwood Drive when she failed to yield to Coventry’s vehicle and the two vehicles collided, police reported.
Woese was transported by North Memorial Health Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd and Coventry was injured and transported by private vehicle
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office and Brainerd Fire Department assisted at the scene.
