Veterans living in the Brainerd lakes area are invited to stop by the Brainerd VA Clinic at 9 a.m. Aug. 26 at 722 NW Seventh St., in Brainerd, for Saturday morning coffee and conversation about VA health care.
This informal gathering is intended to provide veterans an opportunity to learn more about VA health care services available at the Brainerd VA Clinic and how to use the health care benefits their service has earned, the VA said in a news release.
"This is a great chance for area veterans to tour the Brainerd clinic, learn what we have to offer, and get to know their VA", said Nicole Finnegan, Brainerd VA Clinic Coordinator, in a news release.
Veterans who are not enrolled and who have questions about health care enrollment can bring their DD 214 and apply for enrollment.
