CAMP RIPLEY - Veterans from all branches are invited to retiree breakfast at Camp Ripley.

The retiree breakfast includes an update on Tri-care medical, identification cards and benefits. The event is 8:30-11 a.m. on April 30 in the Camp Ripley Hangar Conference Center, 15000 Highway 115, Little Falls.

The event is free. Breakfast is optional with a cost of $6.75.

The gathering is an opportunity for veterans from all branches to network and learn about opportunities and benefits for veterans in central Minnesota. The post commander is expected to address the group and welcome guests to Camp Ripley.

The event will include updates and changes in military benefits, federal retiree benefits, state military cemetery (burial benefits), retiree military identification cards, medical/dental, Yellow Ribbon in Morrison County, family assistance, and the local Veteran County Service Officer. One-on-one questions will also be answered.

Coordinated by volunteers are Tony Wenzel (retired) non-commissioned officer, and Kristina VonBerge (retired) officer.
