CAMP RIPLEY-The semiannual Veterans Retiree Seminar will be Thursday, April 18, at the Old Hangar at Camp Ripley.
Coffee and conversation starts at 8 a.m., breakfast is at 9 a.m. followed by the seminar with topics on changes in military benefits, federal retiree benefits, ID cards, medical/dental insurance, state veterans cemetery, Tricare insurance and more.
There is no cost for this seminar, but there is a $7 fee for those who come for breakfast. Veterans from all branches of the service are welcome and encouraged to attend. A veterans ID card is mandatory to get into the gates of Camp Ripley.
The seminar is expected to finish by 11 a.m., with several door prizes to be given out.
