VFW patriotic coloring contest winners announced

The Brainerd VFW Auxiliary sponsors this annual contest.

Macy Baloga, a fourth-grade student at Garfield Elementary School in Brainerd, was the first place winner in the Brainerd VFW Auxiliary Patriotic Poster Coloring Contest.

The theme was “What Patriotism Means to Me.”

Other winners include Brooke Wymore, third grade at Lowell School, and Kennedy Famoso, fourth grade at the Baxter School. Winners in the K–2 Flag Coloring Contest are Kinsley Malchow, first grade at Lowell School, Ella Klinger, first grade at Garfield, Logan Erickson, second grade at Garfield, and Nora Wonders, first grade at Lowell.
