Virtual Lunch & Learn planned for Sept. 23

“Preventing Falls as We Age at Home, Work, and Throughout the Community” virtual Lunch & Learn will be noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Join Cuyuna Area Connections and the following panelists to hear about how to prevent falls within the home, at work and throughout the community: Ellie Wheeler, David Campbell and Jon Reimer, all of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center; Nita Loken of St. Croix Hospice; and Bailey Swensen from the Hallett Community Center.

Any adult community member who has experienced or knows someone who has experienced stress, anxiety and deepened social isolation as they have aged, who has dealt with a family member or themselves who has had an increase in falls or an increase in worrying about falls, caregivers of an older adult, and all others who support elders in the community should plan to attend.
