WADENA-Tri-County Health Care is offering a volunteer program for area teens called "VolunTeen."
The VolunTeen program runs March 27 through May 5 with one volunteer shift, per week, for six weeks. Teenagers 14 years old or older may apply.
Teenagers involved in this program volunteer at Tri-County Health Care and give patients, visitors and staff a helping hand. They receive a great experience in the healthcare field by assisting nursing personnel and performing special duties in patient care.
The VolunTeen application deadline is Friday. An online application may be completed from the Tri-County Health Care website www.TCHC.org by clicking on the "Careers" and then "VolunTeen Program."
A mandatory orientation will be from 4-5:30 p.m. March 21 for those enrolled in this program. Contact Janet Wiedewitsch, staffing coordinator, at 218-632-8780 with any questions.
