Why are the you the best candidate for the job? I am running because I think I can help make good timely decisions. I've always been a open-minded person able to look at things from many angles. I seek to bring consistent enforcement of ordinances and full transparency from board to citizens. I aim to bridge the communication gap between the board and landowners.

Paul Sandy

Age: 29.

City: Brainerd.

Occupation: Brainerd City Engineer.

Public Office Experience: While I do not have any specific public office experience, my daily workings at the City of Brainerd have gotten me very familiar with the roles and responsibilities of public officials at the city level, which is very comparable to the township level. I have worked for the city for two years as the assistant city engineer and one year as the city engineer. My daily work life directly relates to public office and providing information to public officials so that they may make the best and most informed decision possible.

Why are you the best candidate for the job? My workings as an engineer at the public level keep me in touch with the happenings in the area. My experience in road design, maintenance, quantity and cost estimating, and other fields related to the public sector and roadway maintenance make me an ideal candidate for public office. I practice fiscal responsibility every day at my job, and this would carry over into my workings at the township. I will be completely transparent to the public in all my duties and decisions as a township official. My knowledge of local government will assist me in all work at the township.
