MINNEAPOLIS - The woman shot multiple times at a bus stop here Tuesday night has been identified.

Jessica Denise St. Marie, 28, of Wadena, Minn., was shot in a bus shelter on the corner of Park Avenue and Lake Street in Minneapolis. City police officials said the preliminary investigation pointed to an argument between St. Marie and an unknown assailant turning physical.

St. Marie was alive when emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the shooting at about 6:45 p.m., but died just less than four hours later at Hennepin County Medical Center due to complications from the gunshot wounds.

The Minneapolis Police Department does not have anyone in custody for the shooting.
