Having patience and learning to wait is a skill that is difficult to acquire for most of us, even as adults. Danny has done better than most. Danny has been on our waiting list for a year and seven months and still remains hopeful that someday he will have a mentor that has chosen him.
Danny is one of those kids whose eyes light up every bit as much as the outward bow of his lips. He is now 8 years old and loves to play sports and outdoor games, likes music, and likes to swim. With a smile ear to ear he says he is "loud and proud" and has light and playful personality.
There aren't many kids in Danny's neighborhood and Danny would love to have the experience of being mentored by a family. He imagines it would be fun to fish, go bowling, bike ride or bake with a mentor and would love the opportunity.
