CROSBY - A Walk to End Memory Loss will be Aug. 27 at Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby to support the home's senior service team in the Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's in Brainerd this September.
The Crosby walk will begin at Heartwood's entrance, including a stroll past a pond and end on the patio with a picnic dinner. On the menu is pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans and fresh local garden vegetables to include con on the cob, tomatoes and cucumbers. Cost is $10 per person and the entire amount will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
