WALKER-Two Fosston men were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:51 a.m. Monday on Highway 371 and Front Street Northwest in Walker.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Paula Marie Schroeder, 46, Akeley, was driving a Ford Edge north on Highway 371, north of Front Street, while Curtis Leroy Swenson, 74, Fosston, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu south on 371. The state patrol reported the Malibu lost control and drifted sideways into the Edge's path of travel.
The state patrol reported the road conditions were full of snow and ice.
Schroeder and her passenger, Sabrina Morgan Schroeder, 17, Akeley, were not injured.
Swenson and his passenger, James Leroy Foster, 72, were both transported to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. Foster had non-life-threatening injuries and Swenson had life-threatening injuries, the state patrol reported.
