Weather delays opening of Golf Course Drive

BAXTER--Due to weather conditions, the construction crews were unable to finish Golf Course Drive at Highway 210. Construction crews plan to have the road reopened to through traffic about 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, weather dependent.

BAXTER-Due to weather conditions, the construction crews were unable to finish Golf Course Drive at Highway 210. Construction crews plan to have the road reopened to through traffic about 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, weather dependent.

In the new permanent intersection configuration no left turns will be allowed on to Highway 210 from Golf Course Drive. There will still be intermittent short duration lane closures at the Golf Course Drive/Highway 210 intersection over the next couple of weeks for crews to finish concrete, topsoil placement, sign work and seeding work.

Cypress Drive and Highway 210 corridors are still active construction zones. Signing will be in place notifying the public of the construction activities. Motorists are asked to drive with caution in the work zone area.
