The Brainerd Dispatch business office is closed Thursday, but the newspaper will be published Thanksgiving as well as Friday.
Post offices are closed Thanksgiving but postal services will resume Friday.
Most banks will be closed Thanksgiving and will reopen Friday.
Local and state government offices will be closed Thursday and many on Friday as well.
Some retail stores will be closed Thursday, but some will have extended shopping hours Friday through Sunday. However this year, several stores will begin their Black Friday hours in the later afternoon/early evening hours on Thursday.
