LITTLE FALLS-A 30-year-old Georgia man was injured Wednesday, Jan. 30, when the wind blew the semitrailer he was driving off the road in Morrison County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Said M. Aideed was driving a Freightliner semitrailer west on Highway 10 near 68th Street in Bellevue Township, south of Little Falls, when the wind blew the semitrailer to the shoulder.
Aideed stated he may have hit ice on the shoulder and lost control, forcing the semitrailer off the road and into trees. Aideed tried to steer away from the trees but was unable to due to snow depth.
Aideed was transported to St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls for non-life-threatening injuries.
Gold Cross Ambulance and the Morrison County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the crash reported at 10:44 a.m.
