The Brainerd Public Library's Winter Reading Program for adults, "Snow Time to Read," will be held now through the end of March.

Readers will receive a punch card when they sign up, and get a snowflake punch each time they visit the library and check out books. Once a card has three punches, they will receive a delicious handmade chocolate from Fancy Pants Chocolate in downtown Brainerd and

be entered into a monthly drawing for prizes, like mugs and mini notepads. Frequent library visitors can get additional punch cards for even more chances to win.

A new feature this year is the "Must Read" recommendation bookmarks. If a person reads a book and loves it and want others to enjoy it, they write a sentence or two on why they liked it,

and the library will display the book with your recommendation in it.

Sign up for the program by talking to a librarian at the front desk. Punch cards and "Must Read" bookmarks will be available at the front desk throughout the program.

People who prefer to read the library's eBooks on the 3M Cloud Library, or listen to digital audiobooks with OneClickDigital can also participate in the program.

This program is made possible through donations to the Brainerd Public Library.
